You give the best hugs, best kisses, best advice, best kick-in-the-butt when needed, best love I could ever in my wildest dreams imagine. My life long goal is to make you happy. I love you baby.

Pay it forward 2011:

You must in turn, post this (FB or Blog) and send something YOU make to the first 5 people who comment on your blog (or FB post). The rules are it must be HANDMADE and must be sent to the 5 people sometime during 2011.

We discovered bubbles! Bubbles are fun to look at. Bubbles are hard to catch. Bubbles don't taste very good.

Happy (half) Birthday Joana!!!

It's Joana's half birthday! We decided to have a surprise party for her because she wont be here for her real birthday:( We had invited lots of friends and family, got her out of the house, and when she came back she just said "hey" and went about her business. We had to tell her that it was a party for her, and she was like... why? Anyway, it turned out to be a lot of fun! Happy (half) Birthday!!

Thank you Jannae for being so stinkin' cute with Bryn. You two are such good friends already and I am so glad that you will be there through her life to teach her and be a good example for her.

Thank you to our family in Germany, who I have not met yet. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and for sharing your daughter with us. We love her so much and are grateful for the chance to have her in our lives.

Santa knew that our family needed Christmas to last longer this year so instead of presents in our stockings, he put games, and clues to our presents, but we had to play the games to get the clues. All day we played Win it in a Christmas minute. We played lots of really fun silly games, and although I didn't get a picture, I will forever have the picture of Grampa with a cotton ball stuck to his nose burned into my memory. A few other games we played were bouncing erasers into cups, cereal dominos, pictionary with legos, wrapping paper basketball, inchworm races, and moving a stack of cups, with one in particular, from the bottom back to the bottom, one cup at a time. Win it in a Christmas minute was a huge success!! Thank you Santa;)

Before I tell you all about our Christmas, I have to say thanks to Bryn for being the most adorable, lovable, and best present ever!

We had a blast on Christmas Eve! We played a bunch of silly games, ate pizza (which I think could make a great tradition) read stories, sang songs and read The Christmas Story. I think that may have been my favorite part of Christmas because all the family was there, everyone was super happy and excited, but no one was caught up in candy, presents, and stuff. I hate stuff. Whatever the stuff is, I don't like it, but on Christmas Eve, there wasn't any stuff, just lots of family being friends and making memories.

We tried really hard to get Bryn to open some presents before Christmas. She did pretty good with Jannae coaching her. She got one end open, but I'm pretty sure she thinks we are crazy.
Our family wishes you pure joy through the entire holiday season, on to the rest of the year and for all eternity.
