We had a really cool surprise party at the Fredrickson house because David, Heidi, and Jamie came to visit all the way from Colorado. We played lots of fun games, had fun catching up, and as always, the family dogpile. Seriously, what is it with this family? Poor Tyrel was on the bottom this time. Good thing he's such a good uncle. Bryn also got to meet baby Ella, in the big chair with Grampa and Kayla.
We had a great family home evening lesson and activity about how the adversary is working so hard on us, and how hard we have to work to avoid temptations. We played a game where everyone tries to take off the socks of everyone else and keep their own on. It was quite an adventure, but I think the point got across and we had a blast...as always:)

I am the luckiest girl alive
I got a singing Valentine from my hubby! Shane is a member of the local barbershop chapter and they do singing Valentines. We live 30 minutes out of town, so I was not expecting that! Lucky me I got to see the handsome thing at lunch time:) I love my life! Oh ya, and Bryn loved the chocolate box.

Fourteen things I love about Shane~14. He never, ever gets embarrassed. He is full of confidence, but never ego.
13. His work ethic. I don't know any other person who is their own boss who wakes up before seven to go work outside in -10 degree weather.
12. He is super strong, and a softie. This guy has a heart of gold, and he gives it out all over the place.
11. He's so stinking hot!! How lucky am I to have him in my life.
10. His laugh (the hysterical one that makes you cry).
9. His laugh (the one that says 'your joke is dumb, but I'll laugh to make you feel good').

5...4...3...2...1...BLAST OFF!! Today, Bryn has decided to move. I put her down to play, walked away for 10 seconds and when I came back she was clear across the room and into everything. I cleaned the floor faster than I have ever cleaned anything and it was a good thing because she hasn't stopped! She doesn't quite crawl, but she doesn't scoot really either. She gets up on all fours and throws herself forward, landing on her tummy, then does it again. Not sure what to call it, except totally unexpected movement! I think she is pretty proud of her accomplishment and Bryn, I am super proud of you. I know that you will always have goals and accomplish them while amazing me the entire time. Everything you do amazes me. I love you B. Good job.

Baby it's cold outside!
Yesterdays Post: It's freezing! The sun is out and it looks nice, but it's so cold! I heard on the radio that it was -22 30 miles from my house. They also said that if you take a cup of boiling water outside, it would freeze so fast, the bubbles would freeze. I'm sorry for all the people who had to work outside...thanks for that. Oh ya, and the groundhog said spring would come in 6 weeks. REALLY??? One more, Happy birthday Grandma!!

Oodles of noodles! One Christmas present down;) This year I have decided that the Christmas I give will be all handmade. I've started early so I have time to make everything from the heart an hopefully this will save me from a last minute Christmas rush of wanting more. I'll keep you posted on some of the things I come up with...and I'll let you know about the rest after Christmas!
