Let me introduce you to my brother Quinn. I've talked about him before, but I've learned something new about my younger sibling. He likes poop. He thinks it's kinda cool and really funny. Okay not exactly like horse crap, poop...Actually it is exactly horse crap poop. It is cool and hilarious! I'm just glad I'm not the one with the idea to do it!
Now let me introduce you to PooPooPaper. It's an environmentally friendly company that makes paper products out of animal refuse that hasn't been totally digested. Weird. Whoever thought of that idea was daydreaming during class. Quinn probably was too, since he brought this home with him from college. How funny. And interesting. And weird. And funny! Kudos poopoo people!

Terra & Ciara's Baby Shower
(Terra loved the blocks I made.)
The girls got to hang out tonight and spoil Terra, my cousin and her coming attraction Ciara. We had a blast eating yummy treats and playing fun games, talking to fabulous people and just spending time together.

It was so nice outside last weekend! We got to play out in the sunshine, and Bryn learned not to eat grass. She also learned about cats, and they have fun tails to play with. Good thing we have a kid friendly cat! Bryn also learned about sunburns (which I know is totally my fault). We've had about four years of winter and I forgot the sun actually comes out sometimes. It wasn't very bad, and now she actually has a beautiful tan. I wish I still had perfect baby skin.

It is finally spring! These Easter eggs are so much cuter in real life, and they were super easy to hang (Shane even helped). The 'idea picture' can be found here.

Joana and I made some awesome truffles. Delicious. Pretty. Super easy. My kind of treat! To make them beat 4oz. of cream cheese, add 1/3 cup melted chocolate chips (I used more) then add 1/3c. cocoa, keep beating (which made my arm really tired) and gradually add 2c. powdered sugar. When the dough looks consistent throughout, roll into balls and roll in cocoa and powdered sugar. Refrigerate for at least one hour. And then don't eat them all or you get a bellyache!

So, it's 11:00 at night, and my world is perfect. My lunch plate is on top of my tiny garbage, the garbage not quite all in the can, and two batches of laundry are waiting for me on the floor. Bryn is snoring softly in my arms, and her Daddy is snoring softly in bed. The most important people in my life are so close to me, perfectly content and satisfied, and wouldn't choose to be anywhere else. I am humbled by the simpleness of that fact, that we are choosing to be this happy little family, and by choosing, we are.
I pray that I remember this, always.
