iPiccy.com
I'm a total airhead when it comes to photo editing/retouching/enhancing on occasion even cropping. My friend suggested this website iPiccy.com, and she was right- very easy to use. This was my first attempt. It didn't turn out to be what I was envisioning, but I like the retouch better than the original. What do you think? I would love to learn how to edit my photos so my blog makes me look like I know what I'm doing:) Or at least I'll have nice copies of all my pictures!
p.s. Sorry this is not a new pic, I may have even posted this, but I was just playing:)

Easter
Grandpa caught one of the ducks for the kids to pet. Bryn was a little skeptical, but eventually patted the little ducky head.
Classic suspense before the ready, set, go!
We got one!!
I love the pictures Shane took. "The perspective of the egg."
Grandpa hid one in his hand, and Bryn LOVED it!
What a haul!
Oh ya, there's chocolate in them thar eggs!

THE MOST DELICIOUS!!
Leave it to Shane to come up with some crazy idea... that turns out to be more than amazing! Pineapple upside down waffles! A fresh slice of pineapple, waffle batter, a sprinkling of coconut! Then I made a pina colada topping, with heavy cream, coconut, chopped fresh pineapple and a pinch of sugar. SO GOOD!! The sauce would have been better if I had a food processor, but it was still pretty fantastic! Happy breakfasting!
Garden Arch
Guess what else I can do while Shane leaves the state? I can build a garden arch. I know I'm not a professional photographer so I hope you can tell that it is pretty awesome. We are taking the bits a pieces of old pole fencing that used to be scattered around the yard and just enclosing the garden. Then with the arch, it is actually becoming a pretty romantic garden. We have strawberries, raspberries, grapes, tomatoes, green onions, chives, rosemary, lettuce and spinach planted so far. I hope something grows! At least it will have some pretty architecture.

I learned stuff while Shane was gone
Shane has been working in Montana for the past week and I think I learned a lot in his absence. I can go downstairs, there really aren't monsters. I can still hate it though. Bryn loves horses, and horses can be tickled. We planted some things in the garden and I saw Bryn with both hands grabbing each of Ebony's nostrils! I asked her what she wad doing and she said "tickling!" We also learned that Ebony likes strawberries. I can make breakfast, lunch and dinner! Please don't ask for it all in the same day, but I'm working on it. I can put up fence posts. Ya, I'm pretty proud of that one. It's hard work!! I only put in two but they look so awesome! And please, if you ever come to our house, ask to see my garden arch (that I also made and installed myself), it is so cool! I can put Bryn to sleep, and let her stay there all night. I did wake up a few times to check on her, but I was mostly the one wanting snuggles. So if you're getting the feeling from reading this that I don't do much around the house and Shane is pretty much a superhero you would be right. I am married to the most amazing guy ever in the history of the world, and he's handsome, and strong, and smells good, and works really hard. And he makes me happy. A lot. A lot a lot!

General Conference
Bryn is kinda sick today and is happy with snuggling and not doing anything. Which is great since today is General Conference and we need to sit on the couch and watch it. I've gotta figure this girl out fast. Any insight would be appreciated... She loves watching the speakers! We have watched all three sessions so far (it's almost time for Sunday Afternoon). She can be pretty intent to watch their faces, and it almost seems like she understands their language, or can hear her Heavenly Father in their voices. She makes Bells, her teddy, fold her arms for the prayers, she loves to direct the choir, and she makes sure we all say Amen after every speaker! She knows...a lot. A lot, a lot. I know I should be doing something better for her, but I just don't know what! I don't teach her anything, she just does it! Oh ya, except for that scowl, when she dropped something on the floor... I probably taught her that. But, I'm learning from conference to smile more, and have love in my heart instead of judgments, and be forgiving. I hope I learn it before Bryn realizes I haven't! I also loved the talk that mentioned when someone is drowning, don't ask if they need help, just help them! 'Call if you need us' isn't what we should say, we should have the courage to just jump in and save them!!!
Bryn, Bryn and more Bryn
Celebration moment please! Her hair is finally long enough for the ponytail! We went shopping together and picked out the elastics (and the new spring dress). She was so excited she tried to wear the package on top of her head. She loves looking into the mirror and seeing 'pretty.' She is the most gorgeous little girl with or without ponies, but it's pretty fun to finally be able to play with her hair.
Bryn has developed a pretty tight relationship with her teddy, Bells lately. I love seeing her waking up and being so content to lay in her bed (for up to 20 minutes so far!) as long as Bells is there. Really, what else do you need in this world besides your best friend.
What are those things on the third Narnia, that are unseen, then become seen, and are huge jumping one legged creatures with huge feet? Oh ya? Bryn's. She was smiling, until my camera took and extra second to take:(

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work we go!
Shane and Bryn have been busy cleaning up our yard. It started out as a pretty big mess. I'm glad Shane could see the potential, I would never have been able to imagine it becoming this nice. Every time I walk outside, it surprises me how BIG our yard is. He pulled out three willow tree stumps, that were bigger than backhoe! He also pulled 7 or 8 smaller tree stumps. One dead tree still had the plastic pot tangled up in the roots. No wonder it died, right? If you look really close in the last picture you can see some sticks standing out of the ground... that's the garden! I planted and Bryn sprinkled lettuce, spinach, carrot and radish seeds. When you come see my lawn, please understand why the salad is in the grass.
